Role of Accounts Assistant
The key duties of an Accounts Assistant are the following.
- Maintaining financial records: Account assistants are responsible for maintaining accurate economic records, including accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and receipts.
- Assisting with budget preparation: Account assistants help with the practice of budgets and financial information, including forecasting and analyzing financial data.
- Processing payments: Account assistants process payments to vendors, suppliers, and employees, ensuring that they are made on time and accurately.
- Reconciling accounts: Account assistants reconcile bank invoices, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure that they are correct and up-to-date.
- Providing support for audits: Account assistants provide support for audits, including gathering and organizing financial data and documents.
- Assisting with payroll: Account assistants help with payroll processing, confirming that employee salaries and benefits are processed accurately and on time.
- Replying to inquiries: Account assistants respond to inquiries from customers, vendors, and employees regarding financial matters.
- 1 – 3 years of working experience is required.
- You will be studying AAT / ACA/ ACCA or qualified by experience.
- You will have hands-on experience in accounts, tax, and VAT preparation.
